Is There Such A Thing As a Non-Force Chiropractic Technique?

Does the idea of a chiropractor alarm you? Think you will visit someone who will crunch your neck or pop your bones?

Time for you to relax and read this!

There is another approach to chiropractic. It's called "Non-Force Technique."

Non-force technique is a recent development to make your life more comfortable.

In reality, the term "non-force" is not a true description.

The truth of the matter is that all chiropractors are using force if you use the definition as an "influence which tends to produce motion or change of motion."

Non-Force Chiropractic is producing motion and changing it.

There is another definition of force and this is the one you probably thought of!

The word can also mean "violence or strength" as in "they took the castle by force."

You definitely don't want someone to use that sort of force on you!

As we are on the subject of clarifying terms, here is another one for you. You can make your chiropractor cringe by using the term "manipulation."

Your chiropractor will call what he does a "spinal adjustment" and for good reason. The purpose of an adjustment is to "set right." Manipulation gives you that image once again of someone using brute force.

Chiropractors use the terms "Manual Adjusting" and "Non-Force Adjusting."

Manual Adjusting

This is the older of the two. This is the traditional method that people think of when you mention the word "chiropractic."

This actually means that they use their hands to adjust, rather than using machinery or devices.

The original chiropractor, Dr DD Palmer used a direct push to the spine segments. Interestingly enough, he never twisted the spine. That came later. In today's colleges these methods are still taught. And some chiropractors choose to use them.

Non-Force Technique

In the last fifty years, methods have developed which adjust the body using light pressures rather than force.

One technique which has gained worldwide popularity is the Sacro-Occipital Technique.

This is named after two important bones in your body. The Sacrum is the triangular-shaped bone in your pelvis, and the Occiput is the bone at the back of your skull. With Sacro-Occipital Technique, we gently position your head over your shoulders, and shoulders over your hips, so that your body straightens.

We don't force the body into a better pattern. That just makes it fight back! Instead, we are "teaching" the body to grow in the right way.

As someone visiting a non-force chiropractor you will be receiving one of the best health procedures there is!

You will find the procedures very safe. In fact, the work is so safe that it is great for infants!

You will receive outstanding results for your health and wellbeing.

Don't risk your future. See your non-force chiropractor today!
